Opened in October of 2016, our sneaker dry cleaning flagship has given a tremendous boost to the contemporary sneaker culture in Kharkiv. A year later, out of a modest 70 square meter room Sneaker Mate has extended to a large three-story ambient atmospheric place in the historic center of the city, where we successfully combined our dry cleaning service, concept store of the ready-to-wear world brands and a Third Wave Coffee shop. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, our hub was hit by a Russian missle, and we were able to resume working in the summer of 2023 at a new location, when the entire team returned to our hometown Kharkiv.
Now our place combines a sneaker upkeep service, a store with Ukrainian streetwear brands called SSWEEP and an audiophile music space.
The unique feature of our sneaker upkeep service is that each pair is personally taken and handed out by the dry cleaning expert. We show our work, represent the features of the material to ensure that all our clients were involved the shoe care process to be capable further to do it themselves. Each sneaker is cleaned by hand with regard to the individuality of each pair attention to the smallest details.
